During his PhD and Post-doctoral research at Delft University of Technology in Biotechnology he spent considerable time in water and environmental research. He is the first author for an international patent for using Biomaterials in Nano-filtration of liquids specially water. Being of Asian origin he deeply felt the necessity of a simple, cost effective, sustainable and innovative solution for clean drinking and usable water for the community.
