Business Connection was initially founded by our Chairman Dr M Nahid in 2005 as a sole proprietorship in the historic city of Delft, the Netherlands. As the company evolved, it transitioned into a private limited company in 2009, Business Connection BV, and has since grown to a multifaceted global organization with operations in the Netherlands, Hong Kong, China, and Bangladesh.
With a strong focus on collaboration, joint ventures, and fully owned subsidiaries, we have built a solid foundation for sustainable growth and success. With an annual turnover exceeding USD 88 million, a dedicated team of over 100 professionals, and operational hubs across the Netherlands, Hong Kong, China, and Bangladesh, we have established a solid global presence.
In 2014, business growth led to the formation of RR Business Holding BV. From 2017 to 2020, the group further expanded internationally with the establishment of RR Commodities (HK) Limited in Hong Kong, Business Connection China in mainland China, and Bizcon Services BV in the Netherlands. Presently, the group comprises eight registered companies across Asia and Europe.

A self-made entrepreneur and seasoned businessman, Dr. M Nahid Hasan brings over two decades of valuable experience to the table, having navigated the complexities of diverse international businesses. Recognized as a leading figure in the field of export credit financing, Dr. Hasan has earned a prominent reputation within the Bangladesh banking industry and European ECAs.
He holds a BSc degree in Biochemistry from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and an MSc degree from the University of Westminster in collaboration with the University of London, UK. Additionally, Dr. Hasan holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology (TUDelfT), where he became the first author of an international patent for the groundbreaking use of biomaterials for nano-filtration of liquids.
His passion for innovation and research is evident in his extensive publications of scientific articles and his active participation as a speaker at both national and international conferences. Dr. Hasan’s dedication to excellence and his profound knowledge have solidified his position as a respected authority in the industry and a visionary leader of Business Connection BV.
